In a quarter-final played over two days due to rain, French No. 1 Ugo Humbert ousted Dutchman Gijs Brouwer (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) and will play his semi-final against Australian Alex de Minaur a little later on Saturday.

It's going well for Ugo Humbert, but the day is not over yet. Late Saturday morning, the French No. 1 and world No. 16 dominated Gijs Brouwer (world No. 232) in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-3), in the quarter-finals of the ATP 250 tournament in 's-Hertogenbosch. Trailing by a set but with the break in his pocket at the time of the interruption on Friday evening , Humbert first perfectly got back into the score with a white service game, but he then had to work hard at the start of the third set against the Dutch left-hander, who was rather comfortable with his forehand.

Broken from the start in the final round (0-2), Humbert in fact lined up four games in a row, including a capital break on a little touch in a splendid cross backhand. Aggressive and sharp in return, Humbert then took the lead to advance to the semi-finals. A half that he will play almost straight away, against the number 1 seed of the tournament, the Australian Alex de Minaur (9th in the world). In the other semi-final, Sebastian Korda dominated Tallon Griekspoor in two sets (6-2, 6-4) and already has his ticket for the final.
