Afghanistan has defeated Uganda by 125 runs in the fifth match of the ICCT20 World Cup.
Batting first, Afghanistan set Uganda a target of 184 runs to win the match at Guyana's National Stadium on Monday .
Chasing runs, the entire Ugandan team was bowled out for 48 runs before the allotted overs.
First innings
Uganda won the toss and elected to field first against Afghanistan.
Afghanistan openers Rahmatullah Garbaz and Ibrahim Zadran put together a 154-run partnership for the team, which was the second largest partnership in T20 World Cup history.
Najeebullah Zadran scored only two runs from Afghanistan. Gulbuddin Naib scored four runs and Azmatullah Omarzai scored five runs. Mohammad Nabi scored 14 runs off 16 balls and captain Rashid Khan scored two runs off one ball.
Uganda's Brian Masaba and Kosmas Kiwuta took two wickets each while Alpesh Ramajani took one wicket.
Second innings
Chasing Afghanistan's 184 runs, the Ugandan team could only score 58 runs.
Ugandan opener Ronic Patel gave the team hope of a good start by smacking Fazal Haq off the first ball but that hope was short-lived as the Afghan bowler took two wickets in his next two balls to Patel and Roger Makasa. Pauline led the way.
After that, Simon Sisazi was caught out by Fazal Haq on the delivery of Afghan bowler Mujibur Rahman. Wickets continued to fall and the Ugandan team reached 18-5 in the fifth over.
Fazal Haq Farooqui bowled brilliantly and dismissed 5 players. Captain Rashid Khan took two wickets by dismissing Bilal Hasan and Hendry Siniondo. Naveen-ul-Haq took two wickets while Mujeebur Rahman took 1 wicket
